Can i use june in scrabble

That sucks. August with the accent on the second syllable is am adjective. I think it means distinguished? John is slang for the toilet. I have no idea what "jane" would be, but I've noticed it won't take added endings. So, I guess its not a noun or a verb?

Ha, maybe it's the feminine version of the john. A john is also a male patron of a prostitute. So a jane would be the female counterpart. Both June and Jew are proper nouns. Proper nouns are words that you would normally capitolize, and are not accepted. However Zynga does not count either one of them. I find it offensive that they are filtering these games.

The word ZION is also not accepted. Another possible reason why JEW is not acceptable is that when it is uncapitalized and used as a verb, it is considered an anti-Semitic slur. This is why this word does not appear in the Scrabble dictionary. I've found that some vulgarities and racial slurs will appear in the WWF wordlist and others do not. But the word goy is allowed which is a disparaging term for non-Jewish people. Seems like a double standard commented 9 years ago by anonymous.

WWF was probably created by Jews! The rules of word game Scrabble are being changed for the first time in its history to allow the use of proper nouns, games company Mattel has said. Place names, people's names and company names or brands will now count.

Mattel, which brings out a new version of the game containing amended rules in July, hopes the change will encourage younger people to play.

Until now a few proper nouns had been allowed which were determined by a word list based on the Collins dictionary. In Scrabble, players try to gain the highest points by making words with individual letter tiles on a grid board. Each letter tile has a points value between one and 10, based on the letter's frequency in standard English.

A spokeswoman for the company said the use of proper nouns would "add a new dimension" to Scrabble and "introduce an element of popular culture into the game". She said: "This is one of a number of twists and challenges included that we believe existing fans will enjoy and will also enable younger fans and families to get involved.

Scrabble was invented in by American-born architect Alfred Butts. Proper nouns are capitalized and capitalized words are not accepted. The new word must use one of the letters already on the board or must add a letter to it. See Turns 2, 3 and 4 below.
